Royal Greenland appoints Toke Binzer as new CEO, effective December 1, succeeding interim CEO Preben Sunke. Company aims for 5% EBIT margin in 2027 under ‘back to black’ strategy. Binzer brings international experience from IBM and TDC, along with local insight from Greenlandic entity Tusass.

Binzer’s leadership style and experience are welcomed by Royal Greenland’s chairman Niels Thomsen. Outgoing CEO Sunke looks forward to collaborating with Binzer to execute the company’s strategy and restore the economy. Revenue in first half of 2025 saw a 1.1% decline, but EBIT improved to a DKr27m profit.

Sunke emphasizes the importance of continued focus on efficiency and market adaptations to achieve Royal Greenland’s economic ambitions by 2027. Half-year report confirms progress towards goals, but highlights the need to reduce costs and improve earnings in changing markets.
