Key 10-year Treasury yield hovers below 4% ahead of PPI, bank earnings

From Dow Jones & Company:

On Friday, the U.S. 10-year Treasury yield hovered just below 4%, with the 2-year Treasury at 4.27%, the 10-year at 3.98%, and the 30-year at 4.19%. Data showing strong U.S. consumer prices has cast doubt on whether the Federal Reserve will cut interest rates in March, keeping yields frozen at 4%. This could persist until new data presents a different outlook. The day includes the release of PPI data and earnings results from major banks. Additionally, oil futures rose after the U.S. and U.K. launched air strikes on Houthi targets, complicating the inflation picture.
