The SET closed just below the 1,300-point mark and is expected to rise further on Tuesday. Various sectors such as food, finance, and technology contributed to Monday’s modest gains, with the index finishing at 1,299.78. Among active stocks were Advanced Info, Asset World, and Thai Oil. Meanwhile, Wall Street saw positive movement as major indices closed at record highs, thanks to encouraging comments on trade talks and anticipation of a Federal Reserve rate cut. Crude oil prices also surged due to geopolitical tensions.
