Eli Lilly and Co. released positive results from a Phase 3 trial of Mounjaro for children with type 2 diabetes. The trial showed sustained improvements in glycemic control and BMI reduction over 52 weeks, with a generally consistent safety profile. Mounjaro led to a 2.2% reduction in A1C levels at 30 weeks and 86.1% of participants on the 10 mg dose achieved target A1C levels. The 10 mg dose also resulted in an average 11.2% reduction in BMI. Results continued to improve through the trial’s extension period.
