American Battery Technology Company (ABTC) has nearly tripled its quarterly revenue, reaching $2.8 million in Q4 FY 2025, up 183% from the previous quarter. The company also reported a significant increase in full year revenue, totaling $4.3 million in FY 2025, a 1,149% increase from FY 2024. ABTC has controlled costs, with cash cost of goods sold rising by 70% in Q4 compared to the previous quarter. The company’s total operating expenses decreased by 30% in FY 2025, while also enhancing its cash position to $25.4 million as of September 15, 2025.
ABTC has ramped up operations at its first battery recycling facility, with Q4 throughput increasing by 70% over the previous quarter. The company is now receiving substantial quantities of feed material for recycling from stationary battery energy storage systems, in addition to material from end-of-life electric vehicles and consumer electronics. ABTC was also selected for a $144 million grant from the U.S. DOE for the construction of a second battery recycling facility in the Southeast U.S.
In addition to its recycling efforts, ABTC has developed technologies for manufacturing lithium hydroxide from claystone material in Nevada. The company’s Tonopah Flats Lithium Project is anticipated to manufacture 30,000 tonnes of lithium hydroxide per year. ABTC has received an approved Letter of Interest from the US Export-Import Bank for a $900 million low-interest loan to support the construction of this commercial lithium mine and refinery.
