Semiconductor stocks, particularly Nvidia and Advanced Micro Devices, have seen significant growth on the market in the past year. With an expected increase in global semiconductor revenue of 17% in 2024, these companies are set to reap the benefits. While both show potential, Nvidia seems to be in a better position, with forecasts predicting a healthy 56% jump in revenue and 66% growth in earnings for fiscal 2025. AMD, on the other hand, shows slower growth expectations, with analysts forecasting a 16.6% revenue increase and 41% earnings increase in 2024. With Nvidia looking like the better bet from a valuation perspective, it could be the semiconductor stock to watch for growth in 2024.
