Consumer behavior and psychology experts attribute the strong demand for the pricey bottles to a form of tribalism and fear of missing out. Some critics question the price tag and question whether the containers are worth the hefty investment. Despite the controversy, many fans stand in line for hours to get their hands on limited-edition bottles.
