EV Realty has secured $75 million from NGP to expand its commercial fleet charging hubs. The company’s first project in San Bernardino features 76 DC fast-charging stalls and 9.9 MW of grid capacity, serving over 200 Class 8 trucks daily. The facility is strategically located near key freight infrastructure.

The San Bernardino facility is the largest grid-connected charging project in the U.S., with no backup generation needed. It received funding from the South Coast Air Quality Management District and the EnergIIZE Commercial Vehicles Project. EV Realty focuses on private, dedicated facilities for commercial fleets, providing full maintenance services.

CEO Patrick Sullivan emphasizes the importance of making fleet electrification easy and cost-effective for customers. The company’s data science tools help identify optimal sites with ample grid capacity. Sullivan believes the long-term trend toward fleet electrification is strong where economics make sense, with real customers already operating profitably.

EV Realty’s recent strategic moves include a partnership with Prologis and asset acquisitions from Gage Zero. The San Bernardino facility, opening later this year, marks a significant milestone in the company’s expansion. EV Realty’s Powered Properties® portfolio is set to grow with these developments.
