They are implementing broader cost-saving actions, alternative plan designs, and expanding clinical programs to address rising chronic conditions. Employers are also exploring the use of AI in healthcare benefits to manage costs and improve services. A total of 417 employers participated in the survey, which was conducted in June and July 2025.
