JPMorgan Chase has added three senior bankers to its mid-cap investment banking team, including Rohan Juneja, Ryan Lake, and Lauren Vitale. The team has completed over 175 mid-cap deals this year, with Juneja focusing on media and communications in New York, Lake covering beverage businesses in Phoenix, and Vitale concentrating on education and business services in Chicago.
The bank reported second-quarter profits exceeding expectations, with investment banking fees rising to $2.5bn, driven by mergers, acquisitions, and debt underwriting. JPMorgan also appointed Max Barrett as managing director for natural resources and Carl Torrillo as managing director covering capital goods in New York.
JPMorgan’s mid-cap investment banking global head, John Richert, emphasized the importance of mid-cap companies and investors in driving innovation and creating jobs. The team has grown by 40% over the past year to provide tailored solutions and industry expertise for clients.
In addition to the recent hires, JPMorgan appointed Sarah Catania as the head of private banking for continental Europe. The bank continues to expand its team to meet the needs of clients and deliver specialized financial services.
