Packaging Corporation of America (PKG) is a major player in containerboard and uncoated freesheet paper, with a market cap of $19 billion. The company serves various industries in the US through its Packaging and Paper segments.

Despite a 15.8% decline from its 52-week high, PKG shares have risen 13.5% in the past three months, outperforming the Dow Jones Industrials Average.

Following strong Q2 2025 results, PKG stock rose slightly. Adjusted EPS of $2.48 exceeded expectations, with revenue growing to $2.2 billion and a gross margin of 22.2%.
