Everest Reinsurance has opened an office in Gujarat International Finance Tec-City (GIFT City) in India. The office will focus on reinsurance activities in the Asia-Pacific region under the leadership of Kevin Bogardus. This move aims to strengthen partnerships with local and multinational insurers in the growing Indian market.

The establishment of the office in GIFT City will allow Everest to expand its reach and engage more closely with clients in casualty, property, and specialty reinsurance. CEO Jill Beggs sees this as a significant opportunity to provide long-term value to clients in the dynamic Indian reinsurance market.

Everest Group, the parent company of Everest Reinsurance, is known for its expertise in property, casualty, and specialty reinsurance. In January, Jim Williamson was appointed as president and CEO, bringing over 20 years of experience in the insurance sector to lead the company’s strategic growth and operations.

The move to open an office in Gujarat, India, signifies Everest’s commitment to expanding its presence in key markets and delivering tailored solutions to meet the evolving needs of clients in the Asia-Pacific region and beyond. This strategic decision aligns with the company’s goal of providing long-term value and underwriting expertise to clients globally.
