Singapore-based food-and-drinks group Fraser and Neave appoints former FrieslandCampina executive Rahul Colaco as new CEO, succeeding Hui Choon Kit, who has been with the company for 25 years. Colaco, known for his brand-building expertise, will lead the company into its next growth phase, starting October 1st.
Colaco, with experience at FrieslandCampina and Thai Beverage, expressed honor in leading F&N, a company with a rich heritage and strong brand portfolio. Fraser and Neave, known for Nutri Soy and 100 Plus, reported a 3% revenue increase to S$2.16bn in the year ending September 2024, with profit after tax up 6.8% to S$219.1m.
Fraser and Neave’s food and drinks businesses all saw growth in the past 12 months, contributing to the company’s positive financial results. The group’s revenue reached S$1.77bn in the first nine months of the fiscal year, with profit after tax at S$169.5m, impacted by lower earnings from soft drinks. Koh Poh Tiong, the chairman, thanked Hui Choon Kit for his leadership over the years.
Hui Choon Kit, the outgoing CEO, expressed pride in leading Fraser and Neave and praised the team’s dedication and accomplishments. He is confident that under Rahul Colaco’s leadership, the company will continue to achieve even greater success. Colaco, who previously worked at Unilever and Old Pulteney whisky maker, is excited to take on the role and build on the company’s successes.
