Dollar Tree is building a new 1 million square foot distribution center in Marietta, Oklahoma, replacing one destroyed by a tornado. CEO Mike Creedon praised the community’s strength and resilience, expecting to create 400 new jobs and supply 700 stores in the western and southwestern US.
The new distribution center is part of Dollar Tree’s plan to strengthen its supply chain and support the Marietta community. Dollar Tree reported strong second-quarter results for 2025, with net sales of $4.6bn and adjusted earnings per share of $0.77, surpassing analyst expectations.
Dollar Tree operates over 9,000 stores and 18 distribution centers, employing 150,000 people. The company is committed to rebuilding its facilities, investing in long-term growth, and creating opportunities for the region. The new distribution center will be fully operational by spring 2027, marking a significant milestone for Dollar Tree and the Marietta community.
