The U.S. SEC is delaying a $40 billion cryptocurrency fraud trial against Terraform Labs and co-founder Do Kwon to allow Kwon to be extradited and attend. The SEC opposed separate trials for Terraform and Kwon, citing the virtually identical nature of the cases. Judge Jed Rakoff will decide whether to move the trial date to April 15. Kwon faces related U.S. criminal charges and an extradition request from South Korea.
