SkyBridge’s Scaramucci sees bitcoin over $170,000 by 2025 on halving, spot ETFs By Reuters
From Investing.com:
Hedge fund SkyBridge’s Anthony Scaramucci predicts that Bitcoin’s price could reach $170,000 by mid-to-late 2025. This forecast is driven by demand for newly listed exchange-traded funds and the upcoming April halving event. The halving is a technical event that reduces the rate at which new bitcoins are released into circulation. Last week, Bitcoin’s price briefly exceeded $49,000 as spot Bitcoin ETFs received approval to trade on U.S. exchanges. However, the price has since retreated to around $42,000. Scaramucci attributed this decline to investors rotating out of the Grayscale Bitcoin Trust into the new funds. The U.S. regulatory approval for spot Bitcoin ETFs follows years of campaigning and applications from various firms, including SkyBridge. In addition to its Bitcoin forecast, SkyBridge also plans to launch a new fund that combines investments in crypto tokens and digital asset-focused venture capital. Scaramucci also expects strong performance in structured credit.
