A recent report by ApeX Protocol revealed that Singapore and the United Arab Emirates are the most “crypto-obsessed” nations globally. Singapore claimed the top spot with 24.4% of its population owning crypto and 2,000 crypto-related searches per 100,000 people. The UAE followed closely with 25.3% crypto ownership and a 210% adoption increase since 2019.

The United States ranked third in the report with a score of 98.5, boasting over 30,000 crypto ATMs and a 220% rise in crypto usage since 2019. Canada came fourth with a 225% adoption growth rate and 10.1% crypto ownership. Turkey rounded out the top five with 19.3% ownership and strong search volumes.

Chainalysis’ 2025 Global Crypto Adoption Index placed the US in second position due to growing spot Bitcoin ETF inflows and clearer regulations. India retained the top spot, with the Asia-Pacific region leading in year-on-year growth. Pakistan, Vietnam, and Brazil also ranked high, while Nigeria slipped to sixth place.
