Nxera Pharma Co., Ltd. announced reaching a second milestone in its collaboration with AbbVie for neurological disease research. The milestone triggers a $10 million payment to Nxera, recognized in Q3 2025. The collaboration, initiated in 2022, focuses on discovering therapeutics targeting GPCRs linked to neurological conditions. Nxera could receive up to $40 million in research milestone payments, plus potential option, development, and commercial milestones totaling up to $1.2 billion, along with royalties on global sales. This is the second milestone achieved, with the first reached in June 2024.
