ETL Nederland has acquired Gewoon Accountants & Adviseurs to expand its services for small and medium-sized enterprises in the Netherlands. Gewoon offers accountancy, tax advice, HR, and business consultancy with a focus on digitalization. Led by Patrick Lakerveld, Gewoon has a team of over 33 professionals in Alkmaar, IJmuiden, and Purmerend.

The addition of Gewoon allows them to access ETL Nederland’s international network while maintaining their independence. The existing management team will remain in place. ETL Nederland has also appointed Sigmar Kock as COO to enhance support and growth for partner firms through procedural uniformity and improved performance.

In March 2025, ETL GLOBAL launched its international Real Estate Group to provide legal, tax, and financial services to real estate investors, developers, and companies across Europe. The group will offer guidance in investment planning, financing, construction, portfolio management, transactions, tax due diligence, VAT, transfer tax, and more. Katarzyna Kozakowska and Alexander Krämer will lead the group.
