ACCA emphasizes reducing regulations to aid business growth and cross-border commerce, advocating for EU support in SME sector development to address the skills gap and drive green and digital transformations. ACCA urges the EC to instill confidence and coordination to meet business needs within the 28th Regime framework. ACCA also recommends cross-border recognition of qualifications to reduce the skills shortage highlighted in their global Talent Trends Survey. ACCA collaborated with UK Skills Minister Jacqui Smith and Skills England to enhance workforce capabilities in the UK.
