Large producers under the UK’s new packaging Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) regime must submit their packaging data for the first half of 2025 by 1 October 2025. The enhanced RPD portal offers a centralised platform for registration, data submission, and compliance management. Recent updates include improved functionalities like managing multiple entities and simplifying registration changes.

Under the new EPR rules, large producers must submit packaging data for 1 January to 30 June 2025 by 1 October 2025. Small producers have until 1 April 2026 to submit full-year 2025 packaging data. Registration for the 2026 compliance year is open, and a recycling obligations calculator for 2025 is available for verification.

Producers are urged to familiarise themselves with the RPD portal’s new features and prepare H1 2025 submissions ahead of the 1 October deadline.
