A $500 billion AI infrastructure initiative called Stargate, led by OpenAI, SoftBank, and Oracle, aims to generate 10 gigawatts of data center capacity. Major partners include Oracle, SoftBank, and OpenAI, with NVIDIA providing top-of-the-line processors. Other key partners like CoreWeave, Samsung, SK Hynix, ARM Holdings, G42, and Cisco Systems are also contributing to the project. Stargate UAE, backed by G42 and Cisco, plans to build the world’s largest AI data centers. Foxconn will manufacture data center equipment for Stargate in Ohio. Stargate’s first European data center will be in Norway, co-owned by Nscale and Aker ASA, with an initial investment of $1 billion.
