Lithia UK has acquired Hatfields Group, including four Land Rover sites and one OMODA JAECOO store, expanding their presence in the UK. The deal, completed on 30 September 2025, strengthens Lithia’s footprint in the North of England, with operations in Hull, Liverpool, Pickering, and Shrewsbury.

The acquisition of Hatfields enhances Lithia’s access to luxury car brands in the UK. The Hatfields team will now be a part of Lithia’s Stratstone luxury and exotics division. Patrick McGillycuddy, Managing Director of JLR (UK), sees this move as a significant expansion of Lithia’s retail footprint.

All staff and the Hatfields brand name will be retained post-acquisition. The OMODA JAECOO Hull store will join Lithia’s Evans Halshaw division, introducing Chery as a new OEM partner to the group’s portfolio. This acquisition demonstrates confidence in JLR’s portfolio and strengthens Lithia’s representation of Range Rover, Defender, Discovery, and Jaguar.

Gary Armstrong, Managing Director of Evans Halshaw, highlights the addition of Chery as a fast-growing global automotive brand to the group’s portfolio. Founded in 1922, Hatfields has a strong history with JLR, winning a Jaguar Partner of the Year award in 2024. Neil Williamson, Regional President of Lithia UK, sees this acquisition as a strategic move to support regional growth and expand the representation of luxury car brands in the UK.
