Health Canada has approved AGAMREE (vamorolone) from Santhera Pharmaceuticals as a treatment for Duchenne muscular dystrophy (DMD) in patients aged 4 years and older. This marks a significant milestone as AGAMREE becomes the first authorized therapy for DMD in Canada. Kye Pharmaceuticals holds exclusive Canadian commercial rights to AGAMREE and will pay royalties to Santhera on Canadian sales, contributing to North American sales milestones. This approval is the sixth independent approval for AGAMREE, following positive decisions in the U.S., Europe, the UK, China, and Hong Kong. Additional information can be found on rttnews.com.
