S&P Global reduced the US corn yield estimate to 185.5 bpa, with production at 16.707 bbu. Dec 25 Corn closed at $4.21 3/4, Nearby Cash at $3.78 1/4, Mar 26 Corn at $4.38, and May 26 Corn at $4.47 3/4.

Harvest in the ECB may face delays due to expected light rainfall. Parts of NE, IA, and the Dakotas could experience precipitation. The harvest price for crop insurance will be determined this month based on the average December corn close in October, currently at $4.19 compared to the spring price of $4.70.
