Rigetti Computing Inc. (NASDAQ:RGTI) surged to a new high after securing $5.7 million in new orders for its Novera quantum computing system. An Asian tech firm and a California startup placed orders for the 9-qubit system, scheduled for delivery in the first half of 2026. The Asian company will use it to develop quantum computing expertise, while the California startup focuses on hardware and error correction research. The Novera system is designed for research on qubits, control systems, gates, decoherence, and quantum algorithms. While RGTI shows promise, other AI stocks may offer higher returns with less risk.
