Ares Management’s fund acquires a 49% stake in a diverse U.S. energy portfolio from EDP Renováveis for $2.9 billion. The portfolio includes 10 projects totaling 1,632 MW of capacity, with solar, wind, and energy storage assets spread across four U.S. power markets. The projects operate under long-term Power Purchase Agreements with an average remaining term of 18 years, expanding Ares Infrastructure Opportunities’ renewable portfolio to 5.7 GW. Ares Management expects to announce third-quarter earnings on November 3, 2025. Last month, Ares Management acquired Meade Pipeline Co. LLC from NextEra Energy for approximately $1.1 billion in cash. Investors can access ARES shares through ETFs like GPZ and LBO. ARES shares were trading higher by 1.19% to $152.40 premarket.
