Defense contractor SAIC has agreed to buy SilverEdge Government Solutions for $205 million in cash from Godspeed Capital. SAIC, based in Reston, Virginia, provides government technical and enterprise IT services. The acquisition will help SAIC expand its product portfolio with SilverEdge’s software-as-a-service suite, SOAR. The deal is expected to close in the third quarter of fiscal year 2026. CEO Toni Townes-Whitley sees this as aligning with their growth strategy to provide integrated digital solutions. SAIC was advised by KPMG, while SilverEdge was advised by KippsDeSanto & Co.
