The median sales price for single-family homes on O’ahu remains above $1 million, and even beachfront homes in locales like the Jersey Shore go for millions. However, there are other more affordable options in Florida and North Carolina. One suggestion is Vero Beach, FL, where the median home-sale price is $392,000. Another option is Nags Head, NC, with a median sales price of $875,000 in December. Both towns offer beautiful beach living for potential retirees.
