Amazon Pharmacy, a subsidiary of Amazon.com Inc., has launched Amazon Pharmacy Kiosks to help patients easily pick up prescriptions after doctor’s appointments. The kiosks are being installed at One Medical locations in Greater Los Angeles, with plans for further expansion starting in December 2025.

Patients can pay through the Amazon app, receive a QR code, and quickly retrieve their medications from the kiosks. Licensed pharmacists will be available for virtual consultations, and the kiosks will stock commonly prescribed medications. Amazon Pharmacy aims to improve medication adherence by providing convenient access to prescriptions.

Hannah McClellan, Vice President of Operations at Amazon Pharmacy, stated that the kiosks will eliminate barriers to accessing medication by bringing the pharmacy directly to the point of care. Amazon.com Inc. (AMZN) is currently trading at $223.10, showing a 0.60 percent increase on the Nasdaq stock exchange.
