OpenAI and AMD have formed a partnership, marking one of the largest infrastructure deals in history. The deal includes a multi-year agreement to use AMD’s EPYC processors to build a supercomputer for AI research. This supercomputer, named “AI 2”, will be one of the world’s fastest AI systems.
