Mercedes-Benz plans to merge vehicle sales and financial services by the end of 2025. Franz Reiner, chairman of Mercedes-Benz Mobility, will leave the company on December 31, 2025. Peter Henn will lead the financial services division globally from May 1, 2026, with Tolga Oktay as interim head during the transition.

This restructuring follows a 3% quarter-on-quarter sales decline for Mercedes-Benz Cars. Reiner’s departure marks the end of a career that began in 1992 with Daimler-Benz, shaping Mercedes-Benz Mobility for over three decades. Harald Wilhelm praised Reiner’s leadership and international experience in positioning the organization for future success.
