Over 25,000 people have been killed in the Gaza offensive, driving 1 in 4 residents to starvation. Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu faces increasing pressure from both Israeli public and international community, with at least 85% of Gaza’s population driven from their homes. European Union foreign ministers call for the creation of a Palestinian state, stating it is the only way to achieve peace. Saudi Arabia states it will not normalize relations with Israel or assist in Gaza’s reconstruction without a credible path to a Palestinian state.
