Apple To Begin Shipping Vision Pro Headsets Ahead Of Feb. 2 Launch

From Nasdaq, Inc.:

Apple Inc. has begun shipping pre-orders of its Vision Pro, with customers expected to receive their products by the official launch date of Feb. 2. The first batch of pre-orders were dispatched from Apple’s warehouses via UPS, with order statuses still reflecting as “preparing to ship.” Customers can track their orders on the UPS website or use the “Track by Reference Number” feature to find their reference number.

In collaboration with UPS, Apple aims to have all pre-orders delivered on the official launch day. The Vision Pro saw strong pre-orders, selling between 160,000 to 180,000 units during its first pre-order weekend. However, there are warnings of a potential dip in demand based on pre-order inventory and shipping time. Analysts project a slower sales trajectory for the Vision Pro compared to the iPhone’s initial release and predict it will take two years for the Vision Pro to reach the one million unit sales milestone.
