An Ethereum whale has moved an astonishing $46.02 million in ETH across major exchanges, sparking interest in the cryptocurrency community. The massive transactions, facilitated by eight wallets, involved withdrawals from Binance and Bitfinex before staking with Lido, a liquid staking solution. Spot On Chain brought attention to these substantial transactions through a tweet.

In a surprising move, an ETH whale withdrew funds from Binance and Bitfinex at an average price of approximately $2,419, amounting to $46.02 million in ETH. The entity then utilized five wallets to withdraw 50.15 million USDT from Aave to the CEX trading platform, exchanging the stablecoin for 19,021 ETH, equivalent to the $46.02 million value.

The whale’s recent transactions coincide with a challenging period for the Ethereum market, as the price of ETH has experienced a 4.57% dip in the last 24 hours and a 9.46% decline in the past week, with current market data indicating ETH trading at $2,296. Coinglass has also reported significant ETH liquidations in the last 24 hours totaling $53.78 million, signaling volatility and uncertainty in the market.
