An Ethereum whale has moved an astonishing $46.02 million in ETH across major exchanges, sparking interest in the cryptocurrency community. The massive transactions, facilitated by eight wallets, involved withdrawals from Binance and Bitfinex before staking with Lido, a liquid staking solution. Spot On Chain brought attention to these substantial transactions through a tweet.
In a surprising move, an ETH whale withdrew funds from Binance and Bitfinex at an average price of approximately $2,419, amounting to $46.02 million in ETH. The whale’s recent transactions coincide with a challenging period for the Ethereum market, as the price of ETH has experienced a 4.57% dip in the last 24 hours and a 9.46% decline in the past week, with current market data indicating ETH trading at $2,296. Coinglass has also reported significant ETH liquidations in the last 24 hours totaling $53.78 million, signaling volatility and uncertainty in the market.
These developments are being closely monitored by market analysts and enthusiasts. Traders and investors are advised to exercise caution and stay vigilant as the cryptocurrency landscape continues to unfold.
