Apple has announced the M5 chip, designed for AI, offering accelerated processing for the new 14-inch MacBook Pro and iPad Pro. M5 features a 10-core GPU architecture with a Neural Accelerator in each core, providing over 4x the peak GPU compute performance compared to M4.

The new 14-inch MacBook Pro with M5 chip features a Liquid Retina XDR display, Center Stage camera, six-speaker sound system, and starts at $1,599. The iPad Pro with M5 chip delivers up to 3.5x the AI performance, comes in 11-inch and 13-inch sizes, and starts at $999 for the Wi-Fi model.

Apple Vision Pro with M5 chip offers enhanced performance, improved display rendering, faster AI workflows, and extended battery life. It includes the Dual Knit Band for a comfortable fit and visionOS 26. Pre-orders for Vision Pro with M5 and Dual Knit Band are available, starting at $3,499.
