High Can See Clearly Now: AI-Powered NVIDIA RTX Video HDR Transforms Standard Video Into Stunning High Dynamic Range

From NVIDIA:

NVIDIA has introduced new features for their GeForce RTX 40 Series GPU that will enhance content creation, gaming, and AI tasks. The RTX Video HDR, using AI technology, transforms standard dynamic range video into stunning high dynamic range on HDR10 displays. The company has also released a new GeForce RTX 4070 Ti SUPER for custom board partners.

The new GeForce RTX 4070 Ti SUPER is part of the 40 SUPER Series and has more CUDA cores, a larger frame buffer and a 256-bit bus. It is designed to run much faster than its predecessors and is perfect for video editing and rendering large 3D scenes. It’s available now and promises enhanced creative superpowers for users.

Using the power of Tensor Cores on GeForce RTX GPUs, RTX Video HDR allows gamers and creators to maximize their HDR panel’s ability to display vivid, dynamic colors. This feature works with Chromium-based browsers and provides remarkably improved details and sharpness.

NVIDIA has also introduced the RTX Remix open beta, which is built on NVIDIA Omniverse. The new RTX Remix allows modders to easily capture game assets, reimagine assets via Omniverse-connected apps, and quickly create stunning RTX remasters of classic games. Orbifold Studios is using the technology to develop Half-Life 2 RTX: An RTX Remix Project – a community remaster of one of the highest-rated games of all time.

Vishal Ranga, a technical artist, demonstrates the power of GeForce RTX graphics cards through his 3D scene “Disowned.” He utilized ray-traced global illumination lighting capabilities, and his GeForce RTX GPU allowed for high-fidelity, interactive visualization of 3D designs during virtual production. He encourages budding artists to practice and prioritize the basics while experiencing the highs and lows of the creative process.
