Boeing delivered 55 aircraft last month, with 40 being 737 Maxes. In 2025, Boeing has delivered 440 airplanes, aiming for its best year since 2018. Airbus reported 507 deliveries so far this year, outpacing Boeing slightly.
Boeing CEO Kelly Ortberg predicts 737 Max production rate to reach 42 a month by year end. Boeing also reported 48 net orders in September, including 64 787 Dreamliners and 30 737s for Norwegian Airlines. Approval process with FAA is progressing smoothly for increased production rates.
