Google Settles Patent Lawsuit With Singular Computing

Google settles a patent infringement lawsuit related to chip technology, filed by Singular Computing, for using its patented technology without permission in AI features like Google Search and Gmail. Singular Computing sought $1.67 billion in damages, alleging that Google’s Tensor Processing Units infringed on its patents. The lawsuit was set to go to trial but was paused for a settlement agreement.
