State Street Corp. reported third quarter earnings of $730 million, or $2.26 per share, beating analyst estimates. Adjusted earnings were $682 million or $2.26 per share. Revenue for the quarter rose 21.1% to $3.259 billion. Compared to last year, earnings increased from $422 million to $730 million, and EPS rose from $1.25 to $2.26. Analysts had expected earnings of $2.12 per share. The company’s revenue also increased from $2.691 billion to $3.259 billion in the third quarter.
