Tech giant Apple Inc. and Formula 1 announced a five-year partnership to exclusively bring all F1 races to Apple TV in the U.S. starting next year. This follows the success of Apple Original Films’ F1 The Movie.
Apple TV will offer comprehensive coverage of Formula 1, including practice sessions, qualifying, Sprint sessions, and Grand Prix events. Some races and practice sessions will be free on the Apple TV app. Apple will also integrate F1 content across Apple News, Maps, Music, and Fitness+.
Eddy Cue, Apple’s senior VP of Services, expressed excitement about the expanded partnership with Formula 1. Apple Sports will provide live updates on qualifying, Sprint, and races, with real-time leaderboards and season standings for fans to enjoy. The aim is to deliver premium and innovative coverage to Apple TV subscribers.
