Airline executives have called out Boeing over various quality concerns. They expressed frustration over issues such as loose bolts on Boeing 737 Max 9 planes. USAirline carriers such as Alaska and Southwest estimate a $150 million and significant slowdowns in growth to be attributed to these problems. United recently removed the Max 10 from their plans due to Boeing’s missteps. CEO Calhoun will feel the pressure to remedy these problems.
