Palladyne AI Corp. (NASDAQ:PDYN) and Draganfly Inc. (NASDAQ:DPRO) announced a partnership to enhance autonomous capabilities for aerial vehicles. The collaboration integrates Palladyne’s Pilot AI software into Draganfly’s drone systems, improving mission flexibility for various users. They aim to advance aerial coordination and data-driven operations with intelligent autonomy tools and modular UAV design.

Palladyne’s Pilot platform uses sensor fusion to enable drones to detect, track, and identify targets in real-time, reducing operator workload. Draganfly, serving global defense and commercial customers for over two decades, will benefit from added autonomy previously limited to larger systems. The collaboration aims to deliver advanced aerial intelligence solutions for government, defense, and commercial users.

Ben Wolff, CEO of Palladyne AI, expressed that the partnership will provide advanced aerial intelligence solutions tailored to the operational needs of various users. Draganfly’s CEO, Cameron Chell, highlighted the expansion of modular framework and mission-critical autonomy with Palladyne Pilot embedded in their platforms. Earlier this year, Draganfly secured a U.S. Army contract to develop and train FPV drone systems, expanding its defense portfolio.

Current market data shows DPRO shares trading 0.35% higher at $8.68, while PDYN is 1.5% higher at $8.99 premarket. The companies continue to expand global operations and develop advanced autonomous technologies for defense and commercial applications.
