Las Vegas-based Bitcoin mining firm CleanSpark plans to expand into AI data centers and infrastructure. They hired Jeffrey Thomas, who managed Saudi Arabia’s AI data center program, to oversee the expansion. CleanSpark recently secured more power and real estate in College Park for compute delivery. Despite market turbulence, Bitcoin mining firms are showing signs of recovery. The top five mining firms, including CleanSpark, are up nearly 10% on average. The AI data center market is growing rapidly, with global AI expenditure expected to reach $2 trillion by 2026.
