The Energy sector is the worst performing, up 0.6% midday Friday. Halliburton (HAL) and Devon Energy (DVN) are down 0.6%. The Energy Select Sector SPDR ETF (XLE) is up 0.7% and 3.92% year-to-date. HAL is down 21.58% and DVN down 10.96% year-to-date, together comprising 3.9% of XLE.

Consumer Products sector is up 0.7%, with Garmin (GRMN) down 5.8% and Tyson Foods (TSN) down 0.8%. iShares U.S. Consumer Goods ETF (IYK) is up 0.6% and 12.92% year-to-date. GRMN is up 34.57% and TSN is up 16.58% year-to-date, with TSN making up 0.7% of IYK.

In afternoon trading on Friday, nine sectors are up, with Services and Materials leading at +1.6%. Utilities, Technology & Communications, and Industrial are also up at +1.2% and +1.0%, respectively. Healthcare, Financial, and Energy are up at +0.7% and +0.6%, respectively.
