Farther, a New York-based registered investment advisor, has acquired a wealth management and 401(k) advice team in Marlton, N.J., focused on physicians. Masso Torrence Wealth, led by Christopher Masso and John Torrence, manages about $327 million in assets, having left Commonwealth Financial Network in 2020.
The move allows Masso Torrence Wealth to centralize clients’ finances on Farther’s platform, optimizing operations and increasing one-on-one time with physicians. Nicholas Pantle, vice president of financial planning, highlighted the complexities of physician financial planning, from practice-ownership to retirement strategies.
Farther, founded in 2019, is on track to triple its AUM this year, surpassing $13 billion in assets. CEO Taylor Matthews emphasizes the platform’s focus on empowering advisors to prioritize client relationships, grow their businesses, and deliver more value while maintaining flexibility and independence.
In January, Farther welcomed SignalPoint Asset Management, adding $650 million in AUM. With over $118 million in funding, Farther continues to drive its efforts to support advisors and strengthen their practices.
