Boeing’s management has faced a wave of criticism from airlines due to production issues, with Ryanair experiencing delays in aircraft deliveries. Alaska Airlines CEO Ben Minicucci has expressed anger and frustration over various manufacturing issues, with the company expecting to lose money due to grounded planes.
Boeing 737 Max 9 flights resumed after a series of incidents caused safety concerns. United Airlines and Alaska Airlines have both started flying the Max 9 again, but the FAA has halted production increases, which may lead to delays, that could have consequences for Boeing’s financials. Ryanair supports the FAA’s decision to pause production increases.
