Wright National Flood Insurance Company is acquiring Poulton Associates, an established provider of natural catastrophe insurance products. The deal is set to close in November 2025, strengthening Wright Flood’s position as the largest flood insurance provider in the US.

Poulton Associates, operating since 1989, offers coverage through its National Catastrophe Insurance Program (NCIP) and other natural catastrophe insurance products across all 50 states. The acquisition aims to bring together complementary teams for the benefit of producers and customers.

Wright Flood, a subsidiary of Brown & Brown, serves 4.7 million flood policyholders and offers a range of flood insurance products, including federal, excess, and private options. The acquisition of Poulton Associates is expected to enhance the comprehensive flood insurance offerings to policyholders.

Arrowhead Programs, managing a wide range of insurance programme businesses globally, is the parent company of Wright Flood. The acquisition will enable the combined teams to deliver greater value to customers and increase the number of properties covered by flood insurance, ensuring critical insurance solutions for policyholders.
