Perpetua Resources secures $255m through equity investments from Agnico Eagle Mines and JPMorganChase for Stibnite gold project in Idaho, aimed to produce antimony and top-grade gold while restoring an abandoned mine site. The private placement offers a more favorable financing option for shareholders, with Agnico Eagle committing $180m and JPMorganChase $75m in common shares. Warrants allow for additional share purchases with premiums. The private placement was priced at $23.30 per common share. Perpetua plans to use proceeds for project development, exploration, working capital, and general corporate needs, in addition to a project financing application. J.P. Morgan Securities advised on the equity sale to Agnico Eagle.
