Hulu starts cracking down on password sharing
From Dow Jones & Company:
Hulu is cracking down on password sharing, shifting its shared subscription policy to exclusively within one household. New subscribers are affected as of Jan. 25, while existing subscribers will be impacted on March 14. Disney also implemented similar measures for Disney+ accounts in December. CEO Bob Iger had warned about this change last August. Netflix had previously tightened its password-sharing rules, leading to significant growth in subscribers in the last two quarters of 2024. Sharing outside of your household on Hulu may result in restricted or terminated access. Make sure to check your compliance with the new subscriber agreement terms.
